About the Role

The requirements management engineer will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, structuring, and monitoring the stakeholder requirements and derive the software requirements by understanding amplifier system requirements.
  • Maintaining the traceability of requirements at all levels.
  • Adhering to Harman quality standards and ASPICE compliance.



What You Will Do

  • Be first point of contact for stakeholders (e.g., Product Owner, Architects, Team Leads, Testers) regarding Requirements Management.
  • Understand the system requirement and formulate/derive the SW level requirements. Ensure correctness, completeness of the requirements. Clarify ambiguous requirements with internal or external customer.
  • Coordinate and communicate closely with cross locational engineering team (India, Poland, Germany, China etc.) to analyze the systems requirement, identify risk level associated with new feature development and ensure that the requirement can be met and consistent with commitment. Tracking of completion of requirements analysis process
  • Ensure bidirectional traceability among requirements and traceability to design documents, work tasks and test plans. Maintain the requirement documents in DOORS and other tools according to company process requirement.
  • Define and ensure maintenance of DOORS infrastructure (E.g., Formal modules, link modules) for multiple amplifier programs.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the requirements management and development process for assigned projects/products, ensuring compliance to targeted ASPICE level.
  • Develop the Verification criteria for requirements.
  • Monitor and track the Requirement traceability report and Test coverage report.
  • Accountable for requirements metrics targets. Develop the DXL scripts to generate the various metrics reports.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering or equivalent related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software/system requirement engineering
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide detailed reviews on complex/technical specifications.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools and software for requirements engineering such as DOORS, DNG, and project management JIRA, RTC.
  • Clear and strategic thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans.

What is Nice to Have

  • In-depth knowledge of requirements management principles, project models such as V-Model, ASPICE.
  • Project management experience.
  • Capable of handling multiples programs/initiatives simultaneously and executing them to completion
  • Practical experience in related areas such as system design, hardware/software design, software development, and real-time embedded applications.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic OR international travel.
  • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into the Bangalore office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice)
