The Process Mining Specialist reports to the Director, Process Mining and sits in the Process Mining Center of Excellence.  The Specialist is an expert in developing analysis in process mining tools that meet business objectives.  The Specialist supports the goals of the Process Mining Center of Excellence and is responsible to deliver business impact by using process mining to build and identify value opportunities related to business pain points and objectives.  The Specialist collaborates across business and technology stakeholders to gain familiarity with the business need, understand the data that is required, build transformation scripts, develops analyses, and trains the business on how to utilize the analyses to meet their needs.  The Specialist is familiar with agile and is comfortable acting as a Scrum Master. The Specialist has experience with Celonis and acts as a data engineer, data analyst and value engineer as well as coaches/directs other process mining team members. 

 
Your Team 

This position will be technical lead in the Process Mining CoE.  This position may manage technical resources. 

 
What You Will Do  

• Support the Process Mining CoE and be an active member to help the CoE expand and meet Harman’s business strategy, business initiatives, needs, and challenges  

• Be the Celonis technical lead for both transformation (data engineer) and analysis build (data analyst) 

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across different business units and functions based on CoE priorities 

• Look for opportunities to help business teams get more out of Celonis by being inquisitive and suggest new ideas 

• Perform data transformations, develop analyses and derive business cases 

• Stay abreast of new apps and functionality offered and determine how to incorporate into our environment 

• Look for value opportunities and suggest improvement options  

• Manage and coach junior process mining specialists including career planning, training, and mentoring 

• Utilize AI/ML techniques to enhance process analysis, anomaly detection, and prediction capabilities.  

What You Need 

• Technical proficiency in backend technical architecture using Celonis 

• Proficiency with SQL, PQL, Celonis analyses development, and SAP 

• Capability to align CoE value proposition with business and strategy, engage with stakeholders 

• 3+ years in Celonis value saving projects within a complex, global environment 

• Certifications: Celonis data analyst and data engineer certification, or equivalent experience 

• Ability to demo and present results to business stakeholders 

• Background in automation, AI/ML, and other tools to improve processes 

• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their potential applications in process mining. 

• Proven problem-solving skills, business acumen and excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience 

What is Nice to Have 

• Prior experience with O2C or P2P value savings projects 

• Prior experience with JIRA 

• Prior experience implementing AI/ML for process improvements 

• Experience with HARMAN business landscape and existing business network 

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment, while always maintaining good customer relations
