About the Role
The Manager, Performance Office is responsible for providing leadership to the assigned, high critical/ high complex improvement workstreams by utilizing Business Transformation or Performance Improvement practices. The role requires partnering with the Line leaders / Functional leaders to reach benchmark performance by driving improvement strategies and pushing those actions to results by implementing the execution cadence and rigor.
This role involves leading or supporting key strategic initiatives as Project Manager - shapes aspirations, develops initiatives, and leads end-to-end execution to deliver superior results for the division.

What You Will Do
· Champion and implement the Performance management rigor within assigned functions or business
· Work collaboratively with the functions / Business to design, execute, and lead teams through organizational change to drive short-, medium-, and long-term value
· Lead in-depth review with a focus on identifying full potential, target setting, action/measure tracking, and gap closure to benchmark.
· Coach Initiative owners in developing rigorous and locked-down business cases, project milestones & timelines. Conduct weekly status review meetings with initiative owners
· Ensure initiatives drive implementation and guide each to fast and pragmatic execution.
· Infuse a sense of urgency and establish where to focus (Initiatives, deep dives)
· Hold the team accountable for the results - Bring Clarity, Transparency, and Insights to drive effective decision-making and course correction.
· Act as a sparring partner for the peer leaders across the division to increase speed to impact by challenging the status quo, breaking down functional silos, relentless prioritization, and faster execution
· Support change management efforts to drive high-performance culture and coach team members on transformation behaviors and mindset change
· Ensures connectivity across the workstream to leverage best practices and Knowledge sharing
What You Need
· Undergraduate degree in Finance, Engineering, or other business management discipline.
· 8+ years of experience in any of the areas – Strategic Finance, Business Consulting, Transformation, Continuous Improvement or Business Project management
· Experience managing and leading large-scale improvement efforts to completion
· Strong Leadership, ownership of results, influencing and collaboration skills
· Previous experience working within a global matrixed organization
· A sense of urgency to create an impact and make a difference.
· Strong analytic skills – structured thinker, Problem solver
· Recognizable EQ - capability to quickly develop a strong “standing” within the organization.
· Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal and have the drive to push the shared goal to a conclusion. High level of motivation and determination.
· Impactful communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
What is Nice to Have

Automotive Industry Experience
Black Belt level Lean Six Sigma certification or other improvement methodology certificate(s)
