What You Will Do
· Support product designs by providing assembly fixtures and tooling concepts.
· Using Harman's AME Standard Operating Procedures to assist pilot Design Validation activities.
· Support with process documentation as build reports, visual aids, assembly instructions and change management formats.
· Analyzing the performance of equipment and tooling in order to recommend changes and improvements to equipment and procedures.
· Mechanical assembly skills and part handling ability; capable of completing assembly and process assembly documentation.
· Basic skills for 3D modeling of tools and fixtures.
· Able to access databases as necessary to retrieve drawings, procedures in order to perform work.
· Collaborate with cross-functional team to launch, test and validate new tools, machines and processes.
· Support manufacturing launch team on daily activities during Process Validation (PV) phase.
· Work with all engineering disciplines and manufacturing to identify process improvement opportunities
· Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment through execution of all 5s responsibilities including cleaning, sweeping, organizing to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
What You Need
· High school graduate plus six months electrical/mechanical training or the equivalent.
· English +50% read and write
· 2+ years of final assembly experience in a manufacturing industry.
· Thorough knowledge of machine and assembly concepts as soldering,
· Solid Modeling CAD experience required, like CREO, Solid works or equivalent is preferred.
· Process documentation and work instructions creation.
· Need to read, understand work instructions, drawings and schematics.
· Microsoft Office knowledge
