Description & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review the different portals of the carriers, Control Tower System, in order to track Inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Manage the customs clearances in the different ports in MX.
  • Ensure the complete arrival of the goods to destination.
  • Coordinate pick up of raw materials, parts, components, equipment, tools or any machine related with the AME operation.
  • Tracking of AME shipments in order to send proper information to users.
  • Quotations and manage of air, overland and sea shipments (raw materials, parts, components, equipment, tools or any machine related with the AME operation)
  • Identify standard and premium freight operations
  • Develop initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-compliance related.
  • Analyze the best logistics scenarios, improve in resources and savings, to bring and sent the materials of the AME plant.
  • Send reports of the arrival shipments daily, notified all users the time of arrival of the shipments to the AME plant.
  • Fill the damage log according to the damages reports and incoming analysis. Send the Cost collectors required.

  • 3 years of experience in Logistics or customs department.
  • Knowledge in the law and regulations in International Commerce, Incoterms, and transportation modes
  • Deal with customs brokers, carriers (local and international), forwarders.
  • Knowledge the mode of shipments LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL.
  • Analysis capacity,
  • Knowledge the Maquila program, CTPAT and OEA.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of labor.
  • English intermediate (reading, writing, oral, capable to establish a fluid conversation and presentation, technician languages in logistics terminology).
  • Computer Knowledge (Windows).
