About the Role:

Work as an infrastructure engineer including managing Digital Infrastructure, assessing future growth, and planning for the requirements. Strategic & Operational Technology Planning. Be an expert in managing complex IT environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Technical Architecture, process and change management, RCA preparation
  • Expert in defining infrastructure architecture and managing complex IT environments.
  • Coordinate with other IT departments and business stakeholders on technology deployments, system upgrades and maintenance outages. Communicate maintenance schedules, operational issues and impacts to IT management and business users.
  • Develop, implement, and continually refine and improve Operations, guide support teams, troubleshooting procedures, standards, and policies to conform to best practices and SLAs.
  • Encourage communication of innovative ideas, solutions, suggestions, and problems. Review for appropriate action or implementation.
  • Experience in Wintel Platform (Windows Server Operating Systems, Failover clustering Solutions, File & Print Servers , AD, VMware, vSAN).
  • Knowledge in other domains such as Storage, Backup, Database, Middleware and network.
  • Perform proof of concepts (POC) and proof of architecture (POA) with various hardware and software vendors to pick-up the best solution. 
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to fulfil the delivery expectation.
  • Migrating customers towards an Integrated Platform, Infrastructure Optimization, Dynamic Datacenter design via Virtualization & hosting Cloud Solutions.  
  • Manage & Perform changes related to DR, Data center moves, Capacity management, etc. on Wintel platforms.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical engineers.
  • Have knowledge and expertise at an expert level in the areas of Digital Infrastructure including
  • Server hardware, operating systems, automation, encryption-based data security, user access management and other IT peripheral systems. 

What You Need:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
  • Total IT experience should be at least 8 years
  • REQUIRED minimum 6  years hands on experience in Wintel Infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in Powershell scripting ,personal projects in automation and/or infrastructure design ability to drive complex projects
  • Strong knowledge in ADDS (incl. DHCP, DNS, GPO, DFSR, AD LDS)
  • Experience in Wintel Platform (Windows Server Operating Systems, Failover clustering Solutions, File & Print Servers , AD, VMware, vSAN
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under high stress with consistency and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally disparate team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
  • Experience with wide variety of technology hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and self-direction to meet goals.
  • Solid quantitative skills and strong data analysis skills.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization.
