About the Role

The Automotive Value Management Framework & Analytics Manager will have an end-to-end  responsibility for driving the value management framework implementation, including training cross-functional team across HARMAN Automotive Division considering all Region, Business Units, Customer Programs & Projects (pre- and post-SOP).

This role will play a crucial role in transforming Harman Automotive Value Management organization to a best-in-class efficient work environment by building an advanced framework, methods & tools capable of successful execution of:

  • Around 2,000+ complex VM measures

  • Impacts on multiple functions: Customers, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers


Your Team

This position will report to the Automotive Value Management Lead and will be an individual contributor role with no direct or indirect reports.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement a robust value management framework by:

    • Designing and implementing a systematic approach to identify, measure, and optimize value management initiatives

    • Assessing business processes, identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance value creation.

  • Coordinate and execute VM analytical tools and methods:

    • Ensure successful coordination and execution of multiple ongoing VM methods and tools

    • Oversee tool implementation timelines, budgets, and quality to achieve targeted outcomes.

    • Provide escalation support to facilitate critical decision-making

  • Process Development and Improvement:

    • Develop, maintain and improve VM processes and workflows

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to represent VM in process development initiatives.

    • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and areas for optimization, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Cross-Functional Representation and Alignment:

    • Represent value management in senior management meetings, focusing on VM methods and tools roll-out

    • Drive cross-functional alignment on all levels of management both internally and externally to the VM organization.

What You Need

  • Bachelors' Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in the following areas:

    • Process development

    • Value management related systems, processes, methods and tools

    • Commercial basics in Procurement, controlling and accounting

    • Database management and SW tool engineering

    • Professional knowledge in electronic, electrical & mechanical component integrated into an assembly

  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated ability to effectively present complex technical & commercial topics

  • Fluency in English

What is Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in engineering

  • Experience with automotive electronic systems is expected, including experience selecting and/or recommending automotive assemblies

  • People development

  • Proven ability to share knowledge and best practices with teammates

  • Change Orientation: able to adapt to changing demands and conditions

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 20%, domestic and international travel

  • Be willing to work in an office in EU(Any)/NA(Us & Mexico)/APAC(Any) or work remotely full-time with occasional trips to all HARMAN locations
