IIoT Developer DigITal Automotive Manufacturing 

 

About the Role: 

Join the Digital Automotive Manufacturing Team to implement the HARMAN Future Digital Factory. Be an active part of a global team to develop and improve our state-of-the-art hybrid Industry 4.0 platform in cooperation with local and global Business and Operations teams. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Design, implement and operate Industry 4.0 solutions 

  • Implement full-life-cycle development projects and software products in a cross functional team of IT, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations and set global standards. 

  • Ensure Enterprise IT Standards with focus on sustainability, scalability, high availability, security, and performance. 

  • Work with local teams to extend the global solution to support local requirements. 

  • Provide training to key users and do knowledge transfer to IT colleagues. 

  • Support the platform and tools on Level 3. 

 

What you need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field or relevant experience. 

  • 5+ years of work experience in Software Development (Object Oriented) 

  • Deep understanding of the Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies 

  • Experience in using MS Azure and the knowledge of the relevant components for Industrial IoT  

  • Experience working with and managing Big Data (time series and structured) 

  • Global mindset, teamwork in a multi-location team, enterprise approach  

  • Problem-solving mindset 

  • Excellent English language skills (Professional Working Proficiency) 

 

What is an advantage: 

  • Experience in using the OPC-UA protocol. 

  • Experience in Databases, especially InfluxDB, PostgreSQL and Oracle 

  • Experience in using Enterprise Message Queues 

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Grafana, Qlik)

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and internationaltravel   

  • Be willing to work in an office in Queretaro, Mexico

  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
