Description & Requirements

What You Will Do

  • Identification of defects in infotainment and telematics systems
  • Analysing of logs and traces of defective components
  • Reproducing errors and recording traces at test bench or test car
  • Analysing source code
  • Determination of root cause
  • Elaborating measures to eliminate defects and derivation of improvement measures in cooperation with the development departments
  • Reporting of root cause analysis in quality management system

What You Need

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of automotive hardware and software architectures and solid programming experience (e.g. C#, C++, Java)
  • Experience with automotive diagnosis and automotive networks (e.g. CAN, A2B, BR)
  • Experience with implementation and execution of test & process automation
  • Ideally also knowledge of problem solving techniques like 8D, 5-Why, Y-Effect or
    fishbone diagram
  • A strong, persistent will and pleasure in problem solving
  • Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills
  • English (business fluent)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 5%)
