About the Role

The SharePoint Web Development Manager is responsible for leading the Digital Web and Collaboration Development team including all related solutions and services supported by this team.

Your Team

This position is responsible for overall management of the Digital Web and Collaboration Development team that is part of the Global Shared Services area of Digital.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the team of designers and developers making up the Digital Web and Collaboration Development team.
  • Create and control development plans for all team members.
  • Oversee resource planning for team members including work assignment.
  • Collect, measure and report KPIs of team performance.
  • Lead and perform solution design, development and service deployments and support.
  • Participate in strategic solution planning and design.
  • Manage operational management tasks.
  • Manage staff development and training plans.
  • Preparing system documentation.
  • Ensure management of high performing resilient solutions.
  • Review and evaluate project and enhancement requests working with business teams to prioritize and execute requests.
  • Identify and evaluate industry trends to serve as a source of information for strategic planning and roadmap development.
  • Work with vendor project teams on implementation projects.
  • Support business leaders to help them meet organizational objectives.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • 10+ years of experience designing/developing SharePoint 2016/2019 and SharePoint Online custom solutions
  • Demonstrated experience (8+ years) of increasing responsibilities within global, multicultural, multi-location organizations.
  • Experience leading a distributed team.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and lead multiple enterprise efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests, simultaneously managing conflicting priorities and business interests.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with outsourcing and managing virtual teams.
  • Experience developing custom solutions using SPFx Framework, HTML, CSS, Javascript.
  • Experience developing PowerApp, MSForms, and PowerAutomate solutions.
  • Experience integrating with Microsoft SQL Server through T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Database Design
  • Experience deploying and maintaining SharePoint and Teams apps in an Office 365 environment
