About the Role

You will lead all sales planning and execution of Harman Lifestyle brands and categories with customers in the Carrier, Wireless Distributor, Dealers, Retailers, and College Book store channels. You will have direct responsibility for developing and managing the business relationship between Harman and these customers. Responsibilities also include forecasting, managing the assigned monthly sales budget (Quota), accrual tracking, and monthly business reports.                                                                             .                            

What You Will Do

  • Sales and Operational activities & relationship management.
  • Go to Market functions.
  • Responsible for your yearly Sales Budget in the assigned channels
  • Provide monthly SKU-level forecasts for key customers along with top-line revenue projections.
  • Responsible for soliciting and monitoring purchase orders.
  • Prepare Financial Analyses to evaluate potential sales opportunities.
  • Present and execute new JBL, Harman/Kardon product introductions including but not limited to, forecasting, determining appropriate merchandising solutions, and implementing sell-through incentive plans.
  • Responsible for completing new product setup forms and sharing new product assets with customers.
  • Tracking by customer for Marketing Development Funds and National product promos.
  • Distributing marketing communication to all customers.
  • Dealer-based education events – proficient in PowerPoint and /or keynote.
  • Maintain constant contact with all existing customers via teams, phone calls, electronic communication and in-person meetings.
  • Work closely with Order Management & Supply Planning to ensure customer order fulfillment and special-order requests meet customer requirements.

What You Need

  • 10+ years of related consumer electronic sales, (preferably selling accessories), product management, and marketing experience.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, (Ability to prioritize tasks).
  • Results and detail-oriented: Holds others accountable for commitments.
  • Advantaged proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Consumer Audio/Consumer Electronics – Currently calling on buyers in the Carrier channel (T-Mobile), Wireless distributors & dealers, retailers, and college bookstore channel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business is a plus.
  • Demonstrated Track Record of Growth.
  • Recognition and credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative, and productive partner.

What Makes You Eligible

  • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time and based on the East Coast. 
  • Be willing to travel up to 40%, domestic travel.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

  • At Harman, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is $83,250 - $122,100  + applicable bonus, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
