About the Role

Salesforce Developer is a member of the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) team and responsible for the overall development, configuration and customization of applications within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and business requirements. This position will be based out of Poland.

Salesforce Developer will report to Senior Manager Salesforce CoE and work with the Customer Experience Center of Competency members as well as various business stakeholders across entire HARMAN.

What You Will Do

  • Implement enhancements to existing modules and create new ones
  • Propose detailed technical solutions based on technical requirements
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Support Salesforce Technical Architect in day to day CoE tasks and preparing technical design documents
  • Participate in the creation of standards and best practices
  • Participate in technical specification creation
  • Participate in platform monitoring
  • Proactively ask questions and propose solutions
  • Follow Salesforce.com trends.
  • Implement proof-of-concepts and prototypes when asked and lead implementation
  • Follow innovative solutions to propose best implementation approach
  • Work for and with team members and stakeholders across the globe
  • Work across various functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and Customer Service
  • Maintain Salesforce certifications

What You Need

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Additional qualifications are:

  • At least 5-8 years of professional experience
  • At least 4 year of experience in Salesforce.com technology at an enterprise level
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in one of Object Oriented programming languages (Java, C#, OO PHP)
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce configuration and custom development
  • Good understanding of SFDC Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SQL/SOQL, XML, HTML, SOAP and REST techniques.
  • Debugging for JS and Apex
  • Knowledge of Version Control, Release Management, Bitbucket
  • Should have worked with an editor such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VSCode with extensions for force.com.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce limits and transaction lifecycle
  • Very good communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into detailed technical solution
  • Good knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud out of the box features
  • Fluent English

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery development
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
  • Salesforce certification preferred
  • Should have participated in, and be familiar with, SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
  • Must maintain professional knowledge and relationships with the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Good understanding of MVC pattern
