About the Role

To be responsible for the SW implementation, configuration of the Nvidia/GPU. It requires thorough understanding of GPU, CUDA programming for developing SW stack for the Car Compute.

What You Will Do

• This position has crucial impact on Intelligent Cockpit Platform org for developing its next gen SW stack and help build building blocks for Software Defined Vehicle strategy.
• This position is in Bangalore (on-site) with 10% on need basis travel to over-sees.
• The position of Principal Engineer demands to demonstrate technical skills with decision making ability in day-to-day activities.
• This position is part of Intelligent Cockpit Platform group and seek to solve Next Gen Automotive SW infrastructure related problems.
• This position expects to demonstrate Harman’s 5 pillar competencies: Leadership, Change Orientation, Collaboration, Judgement, and Results Driven.

What You Need

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in SW development with GPU programming.
• Candidate shall have master’s degree in computer science with 8+ years’ experience or bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field with 10+ years of experience.
• As a Principal Engineer candidate should be able to perform hands Cuda programming.
• Candidate should have in deep GPU Memory layout knowledge.
• Candidate shall have Nvidia or relevant SoC configuration knowledge.
• Create software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and other supporting documentation.
• As a Principal Engineer candidate should be able to demonstrate hands-on programming Cuda programming, parallel programming.
• Candidate shall have experience in migrating/upgrading Kernel version/BSP update using Yocto build tool chain, Linux Make build system.

What is Nice to Have

• This section should have no more than 5 bullets
• Exposure to ADAS features with RADAR/LiDAR, state machine handling is added advantage.
• Planning/perception/Motion control for use-cases like ACC is added advantage.
• Implement and optimize vehicle motion control algorithms in AUTOSAR environment and enable real-time deployment on embedded automotive platforms.
