About the role:
- Spearheading the design, development and maintenance of the TCU, Telephony/Modem for upcoming and existing infotainment platforms.
- Independently driving technology demonstrators for the networking features on reference platforms.
What You Will Do:
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Experience in building large complex software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment.
• Experience with performance tuning on Android platform.
• Knowledge of networking stacks like TCP/IP is a must.
• Proficient with Android development, AIDL, Android NDK, JNI, HIDL/HAL.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of Telecom/TCU features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Willingness to work hands-on for the development of the middleware as and when necessary.
• Adhere to Aspice.
What You Need:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent from premier institutes
• Technology Enthusiast with 8-11 years of overall work experience
• Excellent programming skills in C , C++ & Java environment is mandatory.
• Well versed and Hands on experience with Android Telephony/TCU Automotive architecture.
• Tools: GIT, ALM tools, Packet Analyzers, TCPDump.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Implement custom services, applications, and device management features on Android platform.
• Experience in implementing any middleware framework or protocol stack (e.g., Telecom and Telephony/RIL) is a must.
• Can understand hardware schematics.
• Experience with cross compiler tool chain and build IDEs.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills while working in multi-site environment.
