Description & Requirements

You will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our Cloud practice along with other key leaders. This role is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements, while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Drive Innovation, Differentiation & Growth
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Cloud strategy aligned with our business goals and objectives.
    • Ownership on growth of the COE and influencing client revenues through Cloud practice
    • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities across clients.
    • Lead the selection, deployment, and management of Cloud tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Cloud solutions 
    • Define, differentiate & strategize new Cloud services/offerings and create reference architecture assets
    • Drive partnerships with vendors on collaboration, capability building, go to market strategies, etc.
    • Guide and inspire the organization about the business potential and opportunities around Cloud
    • Network with domain experts
    • Collaborate with client teams to understand their business challenges and needs.
    • Develop and propose Cloud solutions tailored to client specific requirements.
    • Influence client revenues through innovative solutions and thought leadership.
    • Lead client engagements from project initiation to deployment.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Build re-usable Methodologies, Pipelines & Models
    • Design and implement cloud-based architectures for our applications and services, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
    • Define cloud strategy and roadmap, working with business and IT leaders to identify and prioritize cloud-based initiatives.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring that best practices and standards are followed.
    • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
    • Define and implement cloud automation and orchestration solutions to optimize cloud infrastructure and resources.
    • Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures, ensuring that cloud usage is optimized and costs are controlled.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, providing guidance and recommendations to business and IT leaders.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Deep knowledge of one or more cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Design and implement cloud-based architectures that are scalable, secure, and reliable. Have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
    • Understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
    • Understanding of security best practices and be able to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions that meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
    • Cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
    • Programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Understanding of database technologies, including relational databases and NoSQL databases.
    • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or ELK.

    • Candidates should exhibit superior presentation skills and the ability to present compelling solutions which guide and inspire.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Cloud team 
    • Collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to align the vision and goals 
    • Communicate and present the Data capabilities and achievements to clients and partners 
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the Cloud domain 

What is required for the role?

  • 12+ years of experience in the information technology industry with strong focus on Cloud engineering, architecture having led, driven and set up a Cloud practice in IT services or niche organizations.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in successfully launching, planning, and executing advanced Cloud projects.
  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, economics, engineering, or physics.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated the ability to manage Cloud projects and diverse teams.
  • Should have experience in creating Cloud strategies & services, and scale capabilities from a technology, platform, and people standpoint.
  • Experience in working on proposals, presales activities, business development and overlooking delivery of Cloud projects.
  • Experience in building solutions with Cloud solutions in any one or more domains – Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, Communication.
  • Problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
