About the Role

As a Parts Coverage Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for driving several cross functional activities to ensure supply of critical components for HARMAN customer’s production globally. This role is newly established at HARMAN in 2022 and presents an institutional reaction to the global supply situation in the industrial market worldwide.

Your Team

The team works closely with all departments and provides consolidated input for Customer Business Units, about status, possible outcome, risk mitigation activity on assigned critical material. Each team member is acting as a micro project leader in a matrix organization.

What You Will Do

  • Gather all available information on critical parts, including demands, stock levels and shipments,

  • Create run-out simulation for HARMAN products using Harman specific tools

  • Report out the status based and criticality and agreed cadence

  • Initiate and drive communication with relevant internal stakeholders, what is required for shortage elimination short and long term.

  • Request the relevant department for escalation, based on criticality of a parts and method of resolution

  • Request to organize 3 party calls with suppliers of critical parts, HARMAN and OEM and deliver information to the task force committee of the customer business unit.

  • Apply for based on predefined tool kit to mitigate or avoid shortages, such as identification of alternative parts, open market or Blueprint partner support, product re-designs.

What You Need

  • College or university degree

  • 4+ years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management, Category Management, Material Planning or Program Management – Automotive preferred but not limited to

  • Strong communication skills: presentation and problem solving (both customer and internal)

  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels within a global matrix organization

  • Capable of handling multiples assignments simultaneously and executing to completion

  • Experience in working in a global organization or on a global product

  • Fluent in English language

What is Nice to Have

  • Fluent in German language

  • Fluent in Hungarian language

  • Automotive Supply Chain Management experience is a plus

  • Automotive Category Management experience is a plus

  • Experience in home office working environment
