Description & Requirements

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Project Office team disciplinary and technically
  • Resource planning
  • Responsible for assigned projects and development tasks and contents regarding fulfillment of time schedule, quality and platform conformity
  • Prepare and realize hardware related contents for RFI and RFQ-Phases
  • Monitor and control given Methods & Standards for project reporting (e.g. effort estimation, reporting of projects status, Strategic Project list (Milestones), Product Flyer, Cockpit Charts, BOM estimates and calculation)
  • Responsible for task and project planning and their prioritization
  • Collect, analyze and prepare all relevant project data for the project status and report project status to management level
  • Support customer presentations and negotiations
  • Interface towards internal customers (SBUs, CPMs, CBUs, Manufacturing and Quality)
  • Execution of special projects/tasks on behalf of the disciplinary superior
  • Taskforce support or lead (if necessary)

What You Need

  • University degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or appropriate graduation)
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or line management  in Automotive industry
  • Ability to manage teams with multi-cultural backgrounds and in several countries
  • Experience in development of complex high density HW designs (Automotive applications or comparable)
  • Broad knowledge in HW components, high speed interfaces and their application
  • Know-how and experience in HW/SW interfacing, production technology and capability as well as mechanical integration
  • Ability to motivate and communicate at multiple levels within the organization
  • Target / results orientation, networking skills and team playing capability
  • Structured & highly efficient way of working
  • Aim to drive for design to cost and high quality
  • Good knowledge of ASPICE / HW SPICE
  • Good English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to work in an office
  • Willingness to travel

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience in support of assessments (internal, IATF and customer)
  • Good knowledge of IBM ELM-, Siemens Teamcenter PLM-, and Mentor tools
  • Knowledge or experience in HW process definition and unification
  • Good knowledge in EMC debugging
  • Knowledge of requirements management
