About the Role

Drive market analysis and global consumer insights with key objectives to communicate and influence Management team and stakeholders to make sound decisions in maximizing and growing the Consumer Audio business in Asia-Pacific.

Your Team

In this role, you will report directly to the VP & GM, Consumer Audio Asia-Pacific.

What You Will Do

  • Communicate with Management team and stakeholders to understand and document the business objectives
  • Assist in formulating analysis plans and acquiring stakeholders sign-off
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced methodology
  • Coordinate with global consumer insights and research team, maximizing internal resources for customer segmentation for better consumer targeting on our activities
  • Work with external agencies to interpret the research material and content, and present actionable facts to each country team
  • Assist in collating and evaluating activity ROI/market intelligence data relating to campaigns.
  • Use market analysis to identify worldwide opportunities and trends relevant to HARMAN’s Lifestyle product portfolio and business
  • Support the Monthly Purchase, Sales & Inventory (PSI) cycle, identifying opportunities to improve on accuracy and data integrity, as well as improving efficiency in the process and meeting the reporting requirements of various stakeholders.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is a must.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analyst role or related field.
  • Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Access and SPSS/SAS.

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge in SQL, Power Query M (advanced ETL) and measures.
  • Talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Deep understanding of business KPIs.
  • Able to do stand-up presentations confidently.
