Key Account Manager – Online

About the Role:

This position is due to the rapid growth in our Consumer Audio - EMEA division, and the brand new office in Madrid, Spain. If you love our brands and want to be part of the exciting opportunity, then read on!

We are searching for a Key Account Manager to focus on the Spanish online market, you will be the first on the ground and will work with the Sales Director to set up and grow the region. This is a big task and we want high energy, results and data driven individuals with a proven record of accomplishment within Spain managing National Key Accounts.

You will be responsible for managing, analyzing and optimizing the performance of our largest pure player sales accounts in Spain. This sales performance currently includes (but is not limited to) content optimization, category Management, PPC for on & offsite, and commercial plan support).

What You Will Do:

  • Work in a matrix collaboration and alignment of company wide sales organization (which involves brick & mortar retailer, pure player & direct ecom teams) This includes collaboration with EHQ on centralized online accounts.
  • Lead and drive the Spanish Tier 1 pure player accounts (incl. e.g. Amazon) regarding sales and marketing performance.
  • Work in collaboration with the Key Account Manager EURS & Sales Support department to manage, nature and optimize existing pure player accounts. This also includes collaboration with product management to deliver the needs of pure player accounts.
  • Oversee, analyze and report total Spanish pure player account performance (sell-in / out / stock management). This includes developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability for the key accounts, as well as negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing pure player accounts and driving growth through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Based on deep understanding of the pure player´s business, lead and drive content and category management in the daily operations of the campaigns and ensure they deliver the agreed targets when it comes to agency fee, PPC spend, revenue, ROAS and project roadmap aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Provide guidance to pure player on best practices for optimizing online sales, such as product selection, promotions and logistics.
  • Monitor & report KPI’s daily and ensure our always on performance marketing campaigns deliver against monthly/quarterly and annual targets in terms of cost, revenue and ROAS. Identify areas of improvement.
  • Test and implement performance marketing strategies and tactics to drive acquisition and conversion through new paid media channels.
  • Report monthly on overall EURS Online Sales business, segments and account performances.
  • Collaborate with the EURS Sales Director and EHQ team to execute and deliver sales and content related technical improvements and projects.
  • Align and share learnings/results with all relevant internal stakeholders internally in order to ensue all pure player accounts having access to the latest tools and technologies to improve their profitable online sales.
  • Development of sell-out-oriented sales & marketing activities for the accounts.
  • Manage the pure player accounts within investment and cost budgets.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales / Marketing.
  • At least 3 years of work experience within the online retail landscape.
  • Prior experience in building effective sales strategies.
  • Preferably experience with platforms such as BI, SAP, SA360, Stackline and Google Analytics.
  • Good understanding of performance marketing metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills and leverage data, metric, analytics and consumer behavior trends to drive actionable insights & recommendations.
  • Result-oriented and excellent communication skills. Spanish and English are a must have in fluency.
  • Team player, open minded, curious with a can do mentality.
  • Preferably experience in working within a global organization with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
