About the Role

HARAMAN is currently seeking for self-driven and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Lodz on Junior position.

In this role, you will have the unique chance to work alongside our seasoned experts, learn from the best in the industry and contribute to HARMAN’s products for leading car manufacturers.

As a Junior Associate at Harman, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the development of embedded software solutions for our innovative projects. You will work closely with our experienced team members to design, develop, and optimize embedded systems software while gaining valuable hands-on experience in this dynamic field.

In the System Engineering / Key Management domain we focus on development of Harman internal programs as well as contribution to projects for leading automotive market customers.

This position offers an immersive experience in the automotive embedded software landscape, allowing you to hone your skills and contribute to cutting-edge projects & products.

Your Team

The team is made up of 10-20 highly experienced System Engineers and Software Developers spread between Poland and Germany.

What You Will Do

  • Work in the “Systems Engineering Key-Management” within the Systems Engineering Team
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of embedded software solutions using C++ for applications and modules required for handling and storing of secure key material.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to optimize code for performance and efficiency.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and debugging activities.
  • Learning and applying best practices in software development, including writing unit tests and conducting code reviews.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.   


What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
  • Familiarity with C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux application development.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of embedded systems engineering.

What is Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of Cryptography.
  • Basic experience with RestAPI.
  • Basic experience with Google Test for unit testing.
  • Understanding of Yocto-Project.
