Position Summary:
Carry out measurements of the operative processes, detect deficiencies and make recommendations. Follow up of quality standards. Analysis of the operative processes with the purpose of creating redesign proposals for its improvement (efficiency and effectiveness).


Job Responsibilities:
Perform Standard Times Calculation necessary to make the labor cost.
Responsible for the control and/or measurement of cycle times and capacities for every process in the factory.
Coordinate the Line/Cells Work balance.
Coordinate the calculation of Head Count.
Responsible for development and/or control of the plant layout.
Participates in the validation of new launch projects information.
Responsible for the implementation of Lean Tools through the entire factory.
Identify and execute process improvements.
Administration to implementation/design of standardized work.
Preparation of Capacity and Layout reports.
Other charges assigned by Sr. Process Engineer.


Basic Qualifications:
 

  • 1-3 years of prior experience in Automotive industrial manufacturing environment.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in implementing Leal Tools and Methodology.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience implementing continuous improvement and excellence methods.
  • Industrial Engineering Degree.
  • Formal Lean training in key Lean tools and methodologies (kanban, 5 S's).
  • Computer knowledge (SAP, Data Works, and Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish).
  • Knowledge of ISO / TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
  • Expert in MOST (Work Measurement System).
  • Knowledge in Statistics and Six Sigma Methodology.
  • Knowledge in any Simulation Software.
  • Expert in Takt Time utilization.
  • Lean Manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks software.
