Description & Requirements

Job Specification: Engineer (Backend Developer) 


Education & Training 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or in a relevant stream. 


  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with Java/J2EE technologies. 
  • Successful track record in development of web/Java based applications with MVC based frameworks like Spring MVC. 
  • Good knowledge/Experience on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud environment. 
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax is a plus. 
  • Experience in automotive industry is a plus. 


  • Expert level skills in Java Programming. 
  • Experience in Golang
  • Experience on MVC based frameworks like Struts/Spring MVC. 
  • Experience on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud. 
  • Experience on Microservice architecture. 
  • Experience on REST or SOAP based web services. 
  • Good knowledge/Experience on SOA based/integration platform is plus. 
  • Good knowledge on Software Configuration Management practices. 
  • Experience with Version Control systems like SVN, Clear case etc 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Development and maintenance of the Java/J2EE based applications. 
  • Development and maintenance of the REST/SOAP based web services. 
  • Coding and debugging. 
  • Produce and maintain well-documented code. 
  • Issue tracking, analysis and reporting. 
  • Perform code reviews. 
  • Perform unit testing. 
  • Mentor new/inexperienced developers.
