Description & Requirements

Main activities:


  • Professional and people management for AME, AME SW, Product engineering, NPI (from the very first NPI step -design verification- due to project participation as early as possible; line readiness, proto production, engineering support and reports), including assignments, work distribution, performance evaluation, coaching and mentoring.
  • Full responsibility for the mentioned functions on global level.
  • Full responsibility for AME NPI production plant.
  • Budget and P&L responsibility for the mentioned engineering cost centers and all AME projects
  • Management of the strategic technical development of production processes.
  • Reporting to the Senior Plant Manager at the daily operational level
  • Design for manufacturing support for R&D (for Denmark and China R&D), in order to simplify and make manufacturability processes more efficient
  • Implement innovations in application and process design to ensure optimal process control and operational performance.
  • Supervision of the competence of the engineering team and ensuring the quality of the work performed
  • Ensure production guidelines are applied
  • Part of the approval flow in the engineering and cost related processes
  • Introduction of a new testing platform in the test tunnel based on new R&D requirement
  • Finding solution and rework possibilities in case of red alert in close cooperation with the Denmark R&D team (~yearly 50 cases)
  • Other activities related to your job that you are assigned by the superior.

Service / Spare:

  • Design, operation and enforcement of testing and servicing processes used by the department; preparation and maintenance of related documentation
  • Ensuring that servicing and inspections run smoothly and within budget
  • Organizing and managing the work of service technicians and engineering, providing all necessary training courses
  • Training new entrant service engineers and technicians, facilitating their integration, mentoring.
  • Ensuring, enforcing and checking compliance with the quality requirements of the service tasks performed
  • Follow-up of the documentation of repair operations and strict control of this process, maintenance of the so-called "cookbook", "Knowledge Base", feedback to developers about serial errors.

Education, experience and skills needed for the position:

  • Master degree in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years of management experience in the field of electronics manufacturing
  • Negotiation-level English language skills
  • Goal-oriented approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Can take responsibility
  • Able to share professional knowledge and best practices with the team
