You will join our Online Sales (E-commerce) department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of: 

Digital Shelf Analytics Specialist

About the Role:

As a Digital Shelf Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our online product presence across various retailer sites and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including local trade marketing, local sales, product marketing and global ecommerce to ensure our products are effectively showcased and easily discoverable by consumers.

What You Will Do:

  • Data Analysis: Analyze digital shelf performance metrics and consumer behavior data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, product marketing, global ecommerce, and customer service to ensure alignment of digital shelf strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Content Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize product content such as titles, descriptions, images, and videos to enhance visibility and drive sales on digital platforms.

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Work with local sales teams to understand what drives SEO best practices per retailer. Help improve product rankings and visibility in search results and category pages on e-commerce platforms. This also includes monitoring competitor activities.

  • DSA Platform Management: Manage product listings and data validation ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with platform guidelines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digital shelf optimization and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • External Agency Management: work closely with our Digital Shelf Analytics agency for bug fixes, change requests and monthly reporting.

  • Digital Shelf Expert: be the company’s expert and promote adoption across markets and teams.

  • Training and Support: provide training to markets and necessary teams involved in Digital Shelf best practices and technologies.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • 5 years proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related field.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Bol, Coolblue, Otto, MediaMarkt etc. is preferred.

  • Knowledge of digital shelf optimization tools and software is a plus.

  • Available to come to the office 2 times per week.
