Description & Requirements

Position Summary:

The Co-Program Manager „Certification/Qualification” will manage internal and external certification of multiple Connectivity project. She/he will be first point of contuct for all internal and external certification deliverables. and will steer internal and external discussions to align on certification to get all certifications for 3rd party products and the final series product in time.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No disciplinary responsibility

Job Responsibilities:

  • Active steering discussions an close cooperation with internal and external certification teams
  • Supporting internal and external teams in discussions with external labs and certrification bodies.
  • Definition and documentation of test setup requirements and timeline to be delivered by internal and external suppliers
  • Organization, participation and documentation of regular alignment meetings with internal and external certification teams, external labs and certification bodies.
  • Strong co-working with System Test, SW and HW team.
  • Preparation of status reports for Senior Program Manager on regular basis
  • Top level planning and controlling
  • Participation and support during budget planning of programs and compilation of development requests
  • Reporting towards customer and internally

Basic Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or appropriate graduation)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in managing certifications
  • Experience in the area of planning and controlling,
  • Good knowledge in wireless and network communication technologies
  • Experience in working with Automotive customers/OEMs
  • High sense of responsibility and independent working
  • Ability to communicate, to motivate and work under pressure
  • Self-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help other achieve this.
  • Good system understanding in telematics area.
  • Very Good English skills in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Infotainment/Telematics systems and experience in working inside Automotive projects
  • Ability to work under pressure
