Description & Requirements

  • Setup and operate equipment to assemble, inspect and rework prototype and service electronic products within the Novi Pilot Factory.
  • Setup and monitor solder paste screen printer
  • Setup, load and replenish machine feeders for surface mount equipment.
  • Interpret X-Ray PCBA inspection machine data.
  • Visually inspect PCBA´s for part population, solder joints, part polarity and other defects to IPCA610.
  • Repair solder joints to IPC 7711/7721 standard
  • Rework PCBAs bye addin, deleting or changing parts to IPC 7711/7721.
  • Setup and operate wave soldering, select soldering machines & conformal coat and hot melt machines.
  • Actively participate in autonomous and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Operate router to remove PCBA´s from panel.
  • Assemble PCBA´s into radios or amplifiers per HMI.
  • Repair or rework PCBA´s by soldering
  • Provide support to Material Control Technician in picking and returning parts.
  • Operate software-flashing equipment.
  • Support to execute ESD validation activities, coordinated by the quality.
  • Achieve the kaizen goal set by the AME Pilot Factory Supervisor
  • Achieve the goal of documented problem solving, set by AME Pilot Factory Supervisor
  • Achieve the goal of documents created, defined by AME Pilot Factory Supervisor
  • Achieve the internal objectives defined by AME Pilot Factory Supervisor
  • Act as a backup to the AME Pilot Factory Operation Coordinator
  • Provide any support required directly by the AME Pilot Factory Supervisor

  • Knowledge or personal computers, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
  • +2 years work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Results driven having proactive, goal oriented approach to decision making
  • Team player having respect for colleagues; leading teams with clarity and accountability.
  • Change orientation able to adapt to changing demands and conditions
  • Customer focus providing exceptional service and quality to external and internal customer.
