About the Role

The Auditor, Global HR Technology will design an audit strategy with the aim of managing and limiting risk according to industry standards. A core element of this role is to perform full cycle independent audits of all HR Systems to identify potential gaps in our processes and ensure operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance. This role will routinely audit Workday for data integrity issues primarily driven by business processes and data input errors. This individual will also serve as our resident auditor and primary point of contact for internal and external audits and will support the organization in resolving any audit issues.

What You Will Do

  • Design and manage Global HR Technology Strategy Audit Strategy to limit risk and ensure compliance according to industry standards and internal audit requirements.
  • Design and configure Workday reports and establish methods for easily identifying issues and risks.
  • Act as key point of contact for all system related questions and support with escalations
  • Perform full-cycle independent audits of all HR Systems, including risk and control management over operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
  • Identify loopholes in our processes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
  • Document, maintain, communicate, and ensure compliance with all internal and external audit requirements.
  • Plan the audit and carry out assigned responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
  • Inform relevant Business Partners about the objectives and scope of all audits.
  • Support and provide leadership from Global HR Technology team to Internal and External Audits involving system and ITAC controls.
  • Provide all resources needed for the audit team to ensure an effective and efficient audit process.
  • Provide access to evidential material as requested by auditors.
  • Cooperate with the auditors to permit the audit objectives to be achieved.
  • Determine and initiate corrective actions based on the audit report.
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of the audit.
  • Retain and safeguard documents pertaining to the audit.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, with a concentration in Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.
  • 3+ years of relevant audit experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including how to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions necessary to conduct ad-hoc data audits
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of EIBs with the ability to mass correct data issues in Workday
  • Knowledge of configuring Business Processes in Workday
  • Possesses working knowledge of Workday security functionality to make user-based suggestions
