About the Role

As a member of our team, your primary roles will be to provide financial and analytical support to the NA Connected Car division. This position reports to the Senior Director, CBU Controlling.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and analyze financial data to in support of monthly reporting
  • Become familiar with and support the RFQ process for new business pursuits
  • Provide support to the CBU controlling and accounting teams on ad hoc analysis and special projects
  • Become familiar with basic accounting functions performed for the Division and show proficiency in completing them as assigned (account reconciliations, variance analysis, etc)
  • Perform business case analysis and multiple-scenario business profitability simulations related to existing business or new business pursuits
  • Ad-hoc activities as required

What You Need

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in sophomore year or later, or graduate/Ph.D. program at an accredited institution.
  • Degree must be in a related area of work with courses in Business Administration (Finance or Accounting)
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, complex tasks and conflicting priorities
  • Good time management skill to meet the tight schedule and deadline
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

What is Nice to Have

  • Previous entry-level work experience strongly preferred
  • Some proficiency with SAP would be ideal, mid to high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work in the Novi/Farmington Hills office
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2020 through August 7, 2020 and be able to work 40 hours per week
  • Highly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
