About the Role

As part of our Global Employer Brand team, this individual will develop new ways to amplify our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) messaging internally and externally to promote the HARMAN culture. They will harness the power of our employees and their stories to create authentic content used to engage existing employees and attract top talent.

Your Team

This position does not have any direct reports, but will manage vendor relationships and act as Co-lead for our Global Employer Brand Ambassador program that includes representation across 20+ countries.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with cross functional teams within Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Marketing to promote greater awareness of the HARMAN EVP and culture while helping to shape the employee experience
  • Act as a strategic storyteller by engaging with global employees across all functions and levels to develop authentic stories, empower our employees to share their stories and amplify their messaging
  • Manage our Employer Brand channels (LinkedIn, HARMAN Careers website Glassdoor, Facebook Careers, YouTube Life at HARMAN playlist); including content and social posts
  • Create new strategies to drive engagement and growth around our Employer Brand hashtag #HARMANConnectsMe
  • Co-lead the Global Employer Brand Ambassador program leading engagement, communication strategy and training
  • Create, edit and launch content for internal and external Employer Brand activations. Content could include employee spotlights, social campaigns, videos, infographics, newsletters, digital banners, posters, Talent Acquisition collateral, etc.
  • Enhance metrics and analytics strategy to measure Employer Brand effectiveness and ROI
  • Support global Recruitment Marketing efforts with a focus on D&I by proving strategic and tactical creative support as needed

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years Employer Branding and social media experience (corporate or agency)
  • Exceptional storyteller with outstanding writing skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple functions and geographies
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices for platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Facebook, etc.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for shaping the employee experience and developing authentic stories

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience working in global companies and on global teams
  • Experience with design or editing tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, etc.
  • Vendor management experience

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%
  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, MI or Richardson, TX
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
