About the Role
As the Manager, FP&A you will support financial and analytical services for the Consumer Audio SBU.
You will report to the Director of FP&A for Consumer Audio Americas.
What You Will Do
Supports the Director of FP&A in the financial planning and analysis for North America Consumer financial statements, including the preparation of charts and graphs showing progress, conditions and results.
Leads the forecasting process for P&L and working capital accounts.
Leads the preparation and submission of annual financial budget to Global Consumer.
Prepares and supervises the preparation of monthly variance analysis, monthly management reports and sales and contribution margin reports.
Supervises the month-end revenue recognition check process performed by a financial analyst.
Approves month-end reconciliations and journal entries related to sales discounts, selling and marketing expenses.
Supervises and provides guidance to FP&A team to project, control and report cost center expenses.
Identifies cost savings and process improvement opportunities across the region.
Works closely with Accounting Manager to maintain a tight monthly financial close process
Liaises closely with cross functional teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Shared Services.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting
Knowledge of US GAAP
+7 years related experience to include preparing financial statements, business activity reports and financial position forecasts and variance analysis
Exposure to budgets and forecasts
Advanced ERP systems, Excel and Power Point skills
What is Nice to Have
CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
Working knowledge in SAP/BPC is strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills. Business proficiency in English.
Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and apply problem solving skills
Ability to plan and organize
