About the Role

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory at one of our regional DC’s (Distribution Center) including but not limited to reconciliation of inventories between systems, inputting, tracking and reporting discrepancies with suggested corrective actions. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability and independence.


What You Will Do

  • Root cause analysis of discrepancies to perpetual inventory balances
  • Manage resolution of root causes across teams and correct discrepancies between the systems accurately and timely
  • Manage B stock discrepancies and receiving process
  • Dispositioning of damaged and scrap inventories – including scrap projects
  • Support 3PL when unplanned inbound shipments arrive to allow them to receive
  • Measure and report accuracy levels at assigned intervals
  • Train and coach others to comply with inventory control procedures
  • Cross-trains on other business processes as needed to support the department
  • Assist in vendor compliance initiatives
  • Lead 3PL performance improvement projects as needed
  • Willingness to work extended hours during month end

What You Need

  • High School Diploma and 3+ years of logistics/shipping experience including with a 3PL
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office, and Excel in particular
  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems
  • To be organized and have a great attention to detail
  • Excellent attendance and consistent timekeeping
  • Professional approach with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work on his/her own initiative, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment, maintaining good customer relations always

What is Nice to Have

  • Inventory control experience
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Spanish – written and verbal skills

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to work in a vendor partner site in Moreno Valley, CA
  • Be willing to travel to Northridge, CA 2-3 times per month
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
