Shopper Marketing Manager - DACH

About the Role:

The Shopper Marketing Manager DACH, leads, coordinates and executes the EMEA and Local Trade Marketing plans. You will serve as single point of Marketing contact towards our B2B customers and you will be a key member of the internal marketing team that works closely with the local sales team and Regional Shopper Marketing Team. You will interface with the marketing organization, external agency resources, and local sales teams to establish and implement customer activation platforms, digital programs, cross-channel campaigns and commercial MKT offers online & offline.

Your Team:

This position does not have any direct reports internally but manages currently one funded head, who supports our marketing activities, content and business as employee of our customer.

What You Will Do:

  • Shopper Marketing planning – Lead & Coordinate all marketing activities within the customer channels as single point of contact for all marketing topics. Setup and review yearly marketing plans in close contact with Key Account Managers. Manage and setup the overall account customer marketing budget in close collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.

Further develop Tier customers and establish processes to drive efficiency and consistency across DACH.

  • Digital Marketing – Coordinate the digital content and performance marketing planning. From production, delivery/distribution towards content review/optimization of NPI’s. Work with the EMEA Digital Marketing team and local Marketing manager to develop content, production schedules, and content dissemination plans.

  • Product Content & Management - Manage and review merchandise presentation on E-tailers to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing and promotional tags are accurate. Take the lead in NPI launch Go-to-Market and align internal Sales and MKT communication on key product launches and lifecycle activations.

  • Activation Marketing – Support the planning and implementation of experiential customer programs and that activate sell-in, sell-out, deepens brand engagement and generates interest in the product launches regionally. Work closely with the EMEA Customer Activation team to execute programs by excellence within regional key accounts. Manage the day-to-day management of the platforms within the region.

  • Commercial Marketing – setup commercial marketing offers together with Regional Sales Team and aligned to the sales channel strategy to improve overall usage of HARMAN Marketing assets.

  • Coordination A / CH Marketing – Take the lead to coordinate marketing activities in Austria and Switzerland in close cooperation with local sales, in order to give appropriate attention to the differences in the ACH markets.

  • Brand Engagement / NPI introduction - Support the Director Marketing DACH in executing regional Brand Engagement programs with the local marketing team and help develop processes for more effective local product launches.

What You Need:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing & Communication.
  • At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in managing customer programs, digital and retail marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in execution of brand campaigns, online promotions, content development and retail merchandising as well as sales incentive mechanics.
  • Thorough understanding of online performance and content plans within the Consumer Electronics market.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within, international and cross-functional teams.
  • English and German language skills.
