About the Role

The Manufacturing Quality – IT Analyst will be working on IT global projects in Digital (IT) Manufacturing Quality team, serving the Global Quality Organizations across Connected Car, Professional & Lifestyle divisions. This individual will do cross-functional coordination with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, & other teams to understand requirements and play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, & support of Harman global quality platform.

What You Will Do

  • Elicit and document Business Requirements, work on business process & functional design, system testing, user acceptance testing & end user training
  • Able to do multiple roles on the projects that may involve configuration, and production support of manufacturing quality applications
  • Communicate Business management updates, leadership presentations, user forums, status reports, project reviews, monthly progress reports
  • Able to work on fast pace global projects that involve enterprise level applications such as SAP, Analytics, and Cloud platforms.
  • Proactively collaborate and co-innovate with colleagues and business teams to drive improved performance, on time delivery and competitive differentiation
  • Organize and track the progress of projects using project management techniques – Agile, Feature Based, and Waterfall
  • Proactively identify project issues and risks, and propose and implement solutions

What You Need

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on Manufacturing Quality applications such as Siemens QMS Professional, SAP QM or any similar technologies with day to day hands-on expertise.
  • At least 3 years of experience of working in Information Technology serving the manufacturing and quality business teams in implementation, maintenance and support of IT applications
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in working Enterprise Applications and ability to configure the applications and work at the database level to support the business requirements
  • Experience in managing medium to large global projects, influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
