Sr Manager, Supply Chain Risk Management

Position Summary:

Team is looking for a hands-on person to create, distribute and present reports regarding Risk Management within the global Supply Chain Oorganization of HARMAN. The Colleague will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to address and minimize any disruptions to HARMAN’s global supply chain. This position will collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to develop processes, training, and systems around developing and maintaining a secure and sustainable global supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global Risk Management team in the Budapest office
  • Provide guidance and monitors execution of the Supply Chain Risk Management program
  • Lead in developing standard procedures, tools and templates related to supply chain risk management with business functions such as Procurement, Supplier Quality Engineer, etc
  • Setup and lead regular Supply Chain Risk Management Board Meetings. Convene meetings as need to review progress, manage/escalate issues, report risks identified. Create and deliver reporting on key risk metrics
  • Coordinate and aggregate ongoing review, management and mitigation of supplier-related risks. Document Supply Chain Risk Management activities
  • Monitor and forecast macro risks. Monitor global events, potential legislative and regulatory changes that may impact our supply chain
  • Set up and report supplier risk score, to support the category strategy and supplier business awards
  • Collaborate with Procurement teams to identify a strategy for managing high-risk suppliers
  • Support external and internal audit on supply chain risk management process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related (Master’s Degree is a plus)
  • 5+ years’ of supply chain risk management experience (Automotive industry preferred)
  • Strong analytical and project management, leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in working in a complex global matrix environment
  • Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP modules
