About the Role

The Global L&D Specialist will be responsible for maintenance and support of the enterprise LMS, and of the learning business processes and associated data to contribute to global Learning & Development programs. He/she will ensure L&D interventions are successfully implemented including organization of vendors, training sites, virtual events, trainers, and participant support. 

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to and implement L&D policies, processes, tracking and monitoring, and reporting standards for the Leadership Academy

  • Ensure effective and consistent implementation and delivery of core people development programs; manages all logistics (before, during and after) for training programs; coordinates partnerships with professional vendors as required; coordinates nomination process for programs; coordinates facility, accommodation and equipment needs; tracks participation and other success measures; coordinates all expenses and intercompany charges within finance timelines; provides data and reports as needed including for audit purposes

  • Manages L&D administration including user support, local ticket management, tool-linked communication, training of users and trainers, supports the roll-out of tool enhancements.

  • Develops and maintains state of the art communications channels for L&D such asMS Teams, information to users via eMail, protocol of learning board meetings, training catalogues and presentations, program launch communication, training materials.

  • Moderates virtual sessions using internal collaboration tools (Webex, MS Teams): assuring support during the sessions with break out sessions, chat discussions, connectivity issues for participants, guidance in using the tools.

What You Need

  • 3+ years of experience working with HR and Learning Systems

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field

  • Experience in successfully managing Learning Systems projects such as roll-out of new tools, training of users, super user support, continuous improvement, and metrics

  • Proven analytical skills in working with data, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing a plan to deliver on those opportunities

  • Good command of MS Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint);

  • Strong communication skills written and verbal, and ability to work across multiple levels in the organization

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience in training delivery, facilitation (classroom or virtual environments)

  • Have Project Management experience;

  • Own a TTT certificate or similar training certification (i.e. CIPD, ATD)

  • Have a keen wish for getting the job done and delivering results;

  • Are able to work independently with minimal daily oversight;

  • Enjoy taking initiatives and wearing the Thinking Hat to create and innovate;

  • Constantly challenge the status-quo.

  • Strong in technologies related to Instructional Design

  • Ability to effectively present information to, public groups, employees, and management
