Location ​​​​​: Bucharest

As our ELVIS/TMS coordinator, you work on the frontline for our development team. Your job is to review, clarify and prepare the requirements of our internal customers to enable our dev team to take over. You provide 1st and 2nd level support to our users while helping the leadership team to plan and track our sprints and releases.

You conduct meetings with our stakeholders, informing them about the overall status while providing insights on the upcoming issues. You will coordinate daily tasks, bugs and implementation projects, provide status reports to your leadership team and stakeholders and support our users in working with the tools.

You are challenged by different tasks and topics including new feature requests, implementation of data sync between heterogeneous tools and coordinating of work package processing. We expect you to take ownership over the tools you are coordinating, implementing your own ideas to improve workflows and the way we work every day.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate small implementation projects like new exchanges or interfaces between tools
  • Clarify, prepare and prioritize work packages for our developers to process
  • Plan and Test software releases for our self-developed defect and test management tools
  • Administrate and maintain established tools interfaces and processes
  • 1st and 2nd level support
  • Support/Consulting for users and external parties via multiple channels

What You Need

  • Education: Bachelor in an Engineering discipline, Computer Engineering, SW-Development
  • Technical or functional knowledge in Application Lifecycle Management
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Knowledge about Agile Scrum methodology
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve problems
  • Team player
  • Good time management and priority handling
  • Ability to work effectively on many different problem types
  • Logical and structured thinking with the ability to explain complexity in a simple way
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to “look over the border”
  • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
  • Responsible character
  • Managing critical situations and fast reaction times;

What is Nice to Have

  • IBM RTC Collaborative Lifecycle Management experience
  • Experience in L1 and L2 support
  • User- or administrative experience in at least one of the following tools: Jira, Bugzilla, Backlog (bug tracking system) for the automotive domain
  • Basic knowledge in C++

Career Path

  1. Engineer

    An entry level role, the degreed Engineer knows and applies basic concepts and techniques of the profession under direct supervision and guidance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree

  2. Senior Engineer

    A Senior Engineer provides a wider variety of technical support tasks using a combination of advanced engineering principles and techniques. They operate with little guidance/supervision as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in their defined area of specialization. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years’ experience.

  3. Principal Engineer

    Principal Engineers are recognized as an emerging expert. They lead the conceptualization, design, implementation and testing of technologies, tools, or process while consistently demonstrating technical expertise and ingenuity. They demonstrate the ability to plan, define, and execute projects with no supervision. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 12 years’ experience.

  4. Senior Principal Engineer

    Recognized as a technical expert, Senior Principal Engineers consistently demonstrate high levels of technical expertise, ingenuity and creativity. They develop and apply advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories and concepts, and have broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of their specialty. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 16 years’ experience.

  5. Distinguished Engineer

    A Distinguished Engineer has a strong record of creativity and innovation. They advance engineering principles, theories and concepts, and are recognized as a Company-wide authority in one or more technical areas. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 20 years’ experience.

  6. Fellow

    A Fellow is an industry recognized expert with a significant body of peer reviewed research and journal publications and frequently speaks at conferences. Acts as a HARMAN ambassador. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 25 years’ experience.

  7. Senior Fellow

    A Senior Fellow is the most accomplished of an elite group of engineers, widely recognized as a World renowned expert in their field of expertise. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree + 30 years’ experience.
