Senior Software Engineer Bluetooth (m/f)

Tasks / Responsibilities:

 

  • Support of the Functional Owner in the domains Bluetooth and WLAN
  • Analysis and assessment of customer requirements
  • Definition and review of interfaces, architecture and timeline with the customer on technical base
  • Conduct feasibility studies
  • Creation of detailed specifications and evaluation/verification of system and software design concepts in close cooperation with CoCs, 3rd party suppliers, and customer
  • Definition, planning and monitoring of work packages and integration into the project
  • Technical coordination of international teams
  • Reporting to project management
  • Analysis of trouble tickets, steering actively the bug-fixing by technical coordination of all involved parties with multiple dependencies
  • Analysis and optimization of performance issues

     

     

    Required Skills:

     

  • Master degree in computer science or a similar qualification
  • Profound knowledge in Bluetooth and WLAN as well as the profiles and protocols for connecting consumer devices
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with focus on embedded Linux systems (C++, Qt framework)
  • Experience in project management methods and in SW-Engineering would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of OOA/OOD, UML
  • Solid background in using modern software development tools like Enterprise Architect, DOORS, JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience in software development within Automotive and ASPICE
  • Fluent communication skills in English, German
