Test Qualification Engineer

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Responsible for qualification activities as testing, reporting, issue tickets, validation tests, flashing system and communicate with engineering colleague, customers.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

  1. Analyze customer and internal requirements and specifications and tests these on system.

 

  1. Issue tickets of found problem and support engineering colleagues to improve issued tickets.

 

  1. Learn and understand system architecture, test environment, tools and use them appropriately for testing, tracing and validation check.

 

  1. Communicate with peers inside the Harman group to coordinate software development. This includes travel for workshops.

 

  1. Interact with customers, suppliers, colleagues as needed to support efficient success of projects.

 

  1. Communicating and supporting with customer local team and manage test activities in accordance with project schedule.

 

 

OTHER DUTIES:

 

Completes other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education

BSCS, BSEE or equivalent requirement

 

Experience

3+ years of experience in qualification or engineering job

2+ years of experience in automotive development, qualification or engineering job

License

Normal driving license desired

Working Knowledge

Basic Infotainment, vehicle knowledge desired; Navigation, VICS, ETC, DSRC, DSSS, Smartway software development experience a plus; Using English communication job experience a plus; Qualification job experience a plus, Customer support job experience a plus.
