Role and responsibility:

 

Manager, Sales

 

  • Focus sales efforts on the Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers and OEMs and in the Japan Automotive industry.  Both expanding our existing customer base and penetrating new companies and similar market opportunities
  • Research, initiate, follow up, close and otherwise manage automotive sales in this region. This will include working with our Strategic Alliances and Marketing teams to assess possible alliance member opportunities and provide market feedback concerning future functionality/requirements where possible for this segment
  • Ability to establish customer relationships and to set and manage customer expectations
  • Manage automotive customer expectations, and account development
  • Responsible for coordinating all elements of the QSS functional departments towards penetrating the Tier 1’s and OEMs and meeting commitments made to these prospects/customers.  This includes, assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements, and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Must be comfortable working in all sales media, including delivering presentations to customers and proposal writing.

Education and Experience:

  • Excellent ability to speak and write in Japanese Languages and English
  • 6 to 10 years of sales experience in sales or account management.
  • Experience in technology product and service sales within the embedded real-time market.
  • Experience selling to the Tier 1/OEM companies in the Automotive/Telematics/ADAS/Infotainment.
  • Experience in delivering sales solutions to the automotive markets, or specific sales experience with a competing firm (Continental, Visteon, HCL, Wipro, Infosys etc) are deemed as assets in this role.
  • Experience negotiating, managing, and closing major accounts
