Job Responsibilities:

  • Weekly MRP review (production demand Qty/timing compared with available stock with pipeline qty), and on-time place PO and release long-term forecast to suppliers to guarantee 100% production demand requirement.
  • Weekly tracking PO confirmation, re-schedule confirmation, goods collection, boat tracking, arrival tracking, custom clearance, receiving tracking and payment coordination. 
  • Regular capacity-investigation with suppliers to foresee problems with capacity planning, and coordinate proper countermeasures if necessary.
  • Regular communication with  BU and CM (production, warehouse…) to confirm materials deliveries/availability to catch their production (for example, demand fluctuation, capacity shortage, logistic problem) in order to meet 100% production requirement.
  • Follow company rules, always optimize inventory level to meet target, by defined materials planning process, deliveries frequency, minimum ordering quantity, standard delivery lot, and safety stock setting.
  • Follow company rules, always optimize freight cost to minimize transportation cost, by defined transportation method in normal cases and approved premium-transportation method in special cases.
  • Systematic supplier management review for continuous improvement, for better service quality, better flexibility, and high OTD rate. In addition, take actions in order to achieve better supplier performance, in terms of logistic issues.
  • Set up clear and effective process with various solutions to deal with demand change (shortage, excess), take lead to implement it with a best economic way.
  • Clear waterfall analysis to judge/execute liability for excess (EOL product) and premium freight cost.
  • Take lead to summarize the MRP buying activities with manual, update and refine the process per the latest status at a regular basis.
  • Take lead to host internal regular conference call with BU to talk about any potential supply vs demand gap for the next 3 months, come up with status update and solid actions.
  • Provide support on material availability on new projects, working with NPI to solve all material constraints to catch PP/MP on schedule.
  • Coordinate with S&OP to provide delivery date update on multiple open drop orders (when to delivery, why backlog, what is the best recovery plan, any resources needed to expedite), follow up the team to align with our commitments.
  • Provide support to address/coordinate on contingent issues within the team like invoice booking problems, payment issues, master data maintenance and help to do the consolidation of OTD/drop order fulfillment report/critical issues highlight on behalf of the whole team.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in International Commercial or Industrial  Engineering. With CET-6 or equivalent level or above
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in certain commodities: mechanical; PCB; loudspeaker software parts; electronic parts (passives, actives).
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Working knowledge desired in the following areas:
  • Logistic/Materials/Purchasing /Planning; 
  • Must have knowledge of SAP-MM module
