For our expanding Treasury Team in Székesfehérvár, we are looking for an experienced

 

Treasury Projects and Innovations Manager

Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, this Colleague will be responsible for all treasury-related initiatives to improve, optimize and upgrade the current systems, processes and knowledge bases. Will work closely together with the Treasury Team and their Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as single point of contact for specific treasury-related business initiatives originating in certain regions, such as Europe or Asia, as the business requires
  • Constantly seek improvement of all Treasury processes, to collaborate with Harman colleagues to support innovative or changing business processes
  • Drive operational efficiencies and add value by further developing the IT2 Treasury management system including all required interfaces to market data providers (e.g. Bloomberg), banks and the units ERP (SAP) systems
  • Apply SharePoint-based automation technology across multiple Treasury compliance processes

 

Cash Flow Forecasting & Analysis

  • Lead the process of coordinating, monitoring and compiling the 3-month rolling liquidity cash flow forecast for the Group on a monthly basis to be provided to senior management and shareholders
  • Partner with local unit controllers and SSC accountants in designing a best practice concept on data sources to be used and business/SSC owners to be held accountable to achieve the most accurate cash projections for the 3 months rolling (direct) cash flow forecast
  • Perform cash flow variance analysis and support customization of respective detailed reports in systems like Qlik Sense or Covarius Hub and investigate plan deviations with the responsible partners

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics, Accounting. Master/MBA as well as additional qualifications in Treasury (ACT/CTP) would be a plus;
  • Experience gained in International Treasury environment for a minimum of 5 years with focus on Cash Forecasting & Analysis, Treasury process innovation and automation
  • Project Leadership skills and Project Management experience, with focus on efficiency improvement within the treasury function.
  • Recent, in-depth treasury-related process & IT skills such as in depth experience enabling processes with dedicated treasury workstations (e.g. Sungard, Wallstreet, IT2); online banking portals (e.g. HSBCNet, JPM Access etc.)
  • Good Microsoft Office application skills, advanced knowledge (e.g. complex formulas, Macros, VBA) of MS EXCEL a plus
  • Sound general understanding of U.S. GAAP or IFRS accounting standards for financial instruments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills in spoken and written English
