Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned business channel partners throughout the Nordics region, which includes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Island. Harman Professional offers solutions for many different markets including Touring, Hospitality, Corporate, Education, Government, Hospitality, Large Venues or Retail/MI. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible to develop and implement a channel strategy to best reach and serve the customers in these market segments.


Leading the Nordics channel efforts to key business partners this senior evangelist is responsible for opening prospects for new sales, increasing profitability, and delivering business objectives. The Senior Sales Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to existing and new channel partners. This position delivers the business sales strategy, activating sales forecast, budget and pricing activities throughout the Nordics area.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role will start with one direct report and can lead to more.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand where users buy Harman solutions and define the best channel strategy to serve them.
  • Strong focus on sales out strategies, plans and activities with Nordics channel partners
  • Very close cooperation with the sales team of channel partners. Channel Partner Sales Team = Harman Sales Team
  • Ensuring all channel partners are meeting Harman performance expectations in sales, marketing, operations, forecasting and reporting
  • Teamwork across all functions of the business from sales, customer service, technical service, marketing, operations to management.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the territory.
  • A structured approach to achieve growth targets, use of CRM, regular plans updates.
  • Enthusiast of positive PR to support the Company’s reputation as a market leader, either directly, or in co-operation, with the relevant customers/distribution network.
  • Monitor the performance of the existing product range, identifying market trends and opportunities for new product development.
  • Take responsibility for your own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of others - who may be affected by what you do or fail to do - whilst complying with the Company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, and that of any country as applicable.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience
  • 5 years’ experience in relevant industry
  • Has found, setup and managed channel partners across multiple countries in the Nordics region
  • Has proven sales and leadership experience within a relevant industry segment.
  • Speaks one Nordic language in addition to English

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
