Program Summary:

At HARMAN, we invest in the future talent of our organization by developing early career professionals with a two-year rotational program. The Finance LEAP members will rotate through three roles within the HARMAN Group, with two being international rotations. In the process members will gain global experience, enhance their financial skills and build an in depth understanding of the businesses and functions within HARMAN.


In addition, you will gain access and exposure to HARMAN University courses, in-person group learning, virtual and self-paced programs while developing a strong peer and global network and participate in a mentoring program to help guide your experience.

Rotation Program:

First Rotation: 9 months in home country

Second Rotation: 6 months international assignment

Third Rotation: 9 months international assignment

Final Placement: Home country and business unit


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely rolling forecasts and budgets
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision making, presenting recommendations
  • Quarterly and monthly financial reporting
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
  • Prepare complex financial analyses to support accounting conclusions
  • Assist with controls and compliance
  • Assist with the month-end close cycle
  • Participate on special projects to analyze the business for improvements


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience with exceeds performance records
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business; MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
  • Strong work ethic and principles
  • Hunger to learn the business, expand financial skills, and learn technologies to drive efficiencies
  • Team player with positive attitude to succeed
  • Strong aptitude for Finance with broad knowledge of Finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SAP and Business Intelligence reporting systems experience highly desired.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Willingness to travel and commitment to the rotation and learning and development assignments over the two year duration of the program

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
  • Commitment to rotational work locations including international assignment over the length of the program
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
