Position Summary:

Can you spot trends that others cannot? Do you have the expertise to find errors and offer solutions to correct them? Are you a team player that can help a high performing, highly motivated, team drive revenue to meet aggressive growth goals? The Manager, Digital Analytics role will be responsible for measuring, analyzing, and generating recommendations to improve & grow the eCommerce/Digital Marketing experiences for Harman brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon, Infinity and AKG. S/He will also be responsible for managing, organizing, and presenting online analytics data for monthly reports while establishing key metrics and developing reporting dashboards for analysis. This position is a key member of the Global Marketing Team that works closely with the Digital Marketing, eCommerce & Social Media Teams, external agencies, and regional teams around the world. S/He will need to deeply engage current audiences, attract new consumers, assist with fraud monitoring and support HARMAN’s key brands via paid, owned, and earned media.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that shape the day-to-day business and drive the long-term growth of our eCommerce/Digital Marketing initiatives.
  • Help drive website, mobile and online marketing optimization efforts through A/B and multivariate testing. Provide recommendations on ways to optimize performance.
  • Translate complex data and test results into clear, engaging, and actionable summaries to be shared at all levels across the company.
  • Perform in-depth analysis into key online metrics and trends uncovered in reports. Mine qualitative research data and customer satisfaction/survey data. Tell the "story" behind the numbers and transform data into actionable business intelligence.
  • Responsible for managing web analytics tools and overseeing data capture and tag management strategy.
  • Regularly analyzing direct eCommerce (B2C) sales and conversion KPI’s at a global scale.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics required, with 3+ years of web analytics experience
  • BS Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field is preferred; MBA is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of online marketing channels such as SEM, SEO, Email and Affiliate required. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
  • Technical Competence – Proven analytical skills, with the ability to summarize and present findings clearly and concisely. Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Omniture SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, or similar platform required. (Google Analytics preferred). Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, macros, etc.); Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Fraud management and risk prevention knowledge a strong plus!

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Stamford, CT.
