Position Summary:

HARMAN’s diverse portfolio of business and customers offer interns a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of projects and practices. As a member of the Lifestyle HR Team, you will gain exposure to a global, matrixed, fun environment where your primary responsibility is to provide operational support by driving Data accuracy for the division and conduct analysis related to talent and rewards data management and tracking.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  1. Perform data quality checks and produce progress reports to update internal HR Team
  2. Partner with HRIS and local HR to improve data quality lined to HRIS and HTC system
  3. Benchmark best practices and makes recommendations for changes and improvements
  4. Develop a systematic approach for updating future data changes and provide a recommendation for checks and balances and routine maintenance
  5. Provide support to the LS HR Management Team as needed on various projects by collecting and aggregating responses from various SBUs and Countries
  6. Assist in creating and developing division reports and dashboards

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophmore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives

 

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Willingness to work in an office in Stamford, CT
  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
  • Must provide full work availability from May 2019 through August 2019 and be able to work 40 hours per week
  • Highly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
