Position Summary:

The Senior Solution Analyst is responsible for working with internal business partners to identify and understand their needs, assess the impact of system and process changes, gather and document requirements, lead testing, facilitate change management and training, and coordinate key milestone activities. This role works closely with solution architects and designers to help ensure that planned technical solutions will align to the identified business needs.  This is a critical role that helps ensure the successful application of technology to support business activities.  The Shared Services area in which this business integration manager resides has primary responsibility for solutions supporting Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications and Finance as well as cross-organizational solutions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is not responsible for the direct supervision of team members but is responsible for leading team projects and activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with business leaders and sponsors to discuss business goals and challenges.
  • Detail and document business case (including ROI and benefits assessment) and requirements.
  • Envision solutions to meet business requirements aligning with corporate technology platforms including Office 365, SharePoint, MS Office, Drupal, etc.
  • Maintain team business analysis process standards and practices aligning with overall organizational practices.
  • Collaboration with development teams to align technical vision with business needs.
  • Serve as a conduit between the customer community and technical teams.
  • Develop and delivery training plans for solutions being introduced.
  • Create plans for future enhancement of team managed solution.
  • Identify project risks and challenges and identify remediation/avoidance activities.
  • Collaborate with Global Competency Centers for the respective technology towers.
  • Work directly with internal and vendor project teams on project implementation activities.
  • Create testing plans and coordinate end user testing activities.
  • Manage defect tracking and remedation activities.
  • Lead product analysis, comparisons, and selections.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer, Information Technology or related field.
  • Demonstrate experience (5+ years) of increasing responsibility within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization.
  • Strong analytical and project coodination skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operatonal requirements.
  • Experience envisioning solutions in a Microsoft technology-centric landscape.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve business problems using technology solutions and processes.
  • Expertise in Project Management Methodology.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and work across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
  • Proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests, simultaneiously managing conflicting priorities and business interests.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent conflict resolutiona nd negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with outsourced and virtual teams.
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple simultaneous initiatives.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience engaging with Human Resource, Legal, Corporate Communications and Finance business teams on solution envisioning.
  • Ability to influence and drive change.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Stamford, CT.
