Position Summary:

This senior level individual will be the evangelist responsible for selling HARMAN Audio product solutions to target the  Audio Touring/Rental and Performance Spaces in Asia-Pacific (exclude China and India).

This proven sales professional will drive demand and net new business opportunities for complete system solutions from HARMAN by establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and end-users in vertical markets like Touring Companies, Music Venues, Musical Theater, Production Companies, System Technicians and Sound Engineers.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any direct reports. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with Regional and Global Management and the Marketing Solutions Manager to drive new business consistent with the organization’s long-range strategic goals and objectives. He/she will build a cohesive strategy for engaging and developing relationships in the Touring market while ensuring a cohesive strategy across the organization. Essential responsibilities will include:

 

  • Developing and maintaining new relationships with key decision makers and end-users to then hand-over to the sales team to follow up and closing.
  • Making warm and cold calls to prospective customers to promote new business opportunities.
  • Visiting potential new customers, make presentations, identifies key decision makers and updating the sales team accordingly.
  • Developing a world-class voice of customer program and providing input to the Tour and Performing Arts Audio solutions manager.
  • Supporting product launches and sustaining efforts over the life-cycle of products developed for the Touring and Performing Arts market segment Responsible for conducting industry and competitive research analysis.
  • Maintaining CRM records to track, manage, and follow up on all business development activities.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology related sales or business development role – Touring and/or Theatre Performance focused preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals and objectives
  • Ability to understand business requirements and effectively present and articulate a business plan that includes focused action items, timelines, and stakeholders
  • Broad overall knowledge of technology from the touring/staging area is required; preferably in the audio The ability to travel extensively (>60%), and occasionally with little notice.
  • Ability to work in Singapore

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Degree a plus.
