Position Summary: Manager, Mobility and Cloud Architecture

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position includes responsibility for guiding the workflow and prioritizing activities of Mobility and Cloud staff, as well as 3rd party suppliers

 

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the mobility and cloud infrastructure team. Responsible for overall mobility and cloud environment, incorporating best practices.

  • Design, maintain and continuously improve Harman’s Mobility and Cloud environment
  • Manage relationship Mobility and Cloud with suppliers, resellers and contractors
  • Maintain the Mobility and Cloud documentation
  • Supervise Mobility and Cloud team responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor the environment to minimize the service disruption, propose service improvements
  • Work closely with other IT groups to constantly improve the overall architecture
  • Requires an ability to manage multiple, simultaneous, fast-paced projects
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and comprehend many technical and business concepts
  • Ability to visualize project impact, understand the effects on IT and the business, and the changes that may be required

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Mobility, Mobile device Management, AWS and MS Azure cloud environment in a global footprint
  • Experience working with Mobility and cloud technologies and projects
  • Experience leading a global team from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under high stress with consistency and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally disparate team
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing and speaking
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Experience with wide variety of technology hardware, software and troubleshooting
  • Capable of multi-tasking and self-direction to meet goals
  • Solid quantitative skills and strong data analysis skills
  • Strong emphasis on quality and keen attention to detail required
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • Total IT experience should be at least 7+ years
  • 3+ years hands on experience in AWS and MS Azure cloud, including tenant management, resource provisioning and overall management
  • Working Knowledge on Mobility and Mobile Device Management, especially AirWatch
  • Basic experience on networking
    • Experience with ITILv3 framework processes and activities
  • Worked for a MNC with outsourced IT support model

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
