Job Description

 

Position Summary:

The Manager, Program Management, will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of the Digital Road Map for Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Warehouse management, Sales & Operations planning and Finance functions.

In addition, will be responsible for developing project business cases, agree and secure project budget, coordinate the initiation of projects with the Digital team, track the project progress and measure the project success against defined metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Digital roadmap:
    • Define, align, and deliver a roadmap for manufacturing, Operations and Finance that drives simplification, standardization, analytics and innovation, which will enable profitable growth for HARMAN’s Professional Solutions Division.
    • Review and revise the digital roadmap annually and review it with business leadership.
    • Align and enable divisional targets to fiscal year roadmap.

 

  • Portfolio Management:
    • Oversee the Digital Portfolio for Manuafacturing and Finance functions within the division.
    • Analysis, design and transfer of business requirements to the Digital organization.
    • Develop Business case and business benefits for projects.
    • Interpret and apply organization’s policy on processes and projects.
    • Review project progress and evaluate results.
    • Measure the project success against defined metrics.
    • Develop and deliver monthly and annual Digital portfolio reports .
  • Process Excellence:
    • Deploy lean integrated processes for Manufacturing Operations and Finance to enable end user productivity,  market competitiveness, operational efficiencies, real time insights and decision making.
    • Be a catalyst for change enabling process definition and improvements.
    • Suggest option and solution recommendations to business owners.
    • Influence decisions and be a trusted advisor to Manufacturing Operations and Finance leadership team.
    • Explore, utilize and promote digital opportunities available.

 

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Establishes operational rigor, metrics, reviews and rythms to ensure system performance, availability, business continuity, and end user satisfaction for Manufacturing Operations and Finance.
    • Proactively collaborate and co-innovate with customers and suppliers to drive customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation.
    • Handles escalations and oversees closure of activities.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years Digital and/or Operational experience related to Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing,  Operations and Finance roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in project management and/or Business Analysis.
  • 5+ years experience in global setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills with keen attention to details.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in a key location – Northridge, CA
