Solution Architect I - SFCC

Position Summary:


Develop, support and maintain Eocmmerce aplications hosted on Saleforce commerce cloud ( SFCC )  [ earlier know as demand ware ]  platform. Take the leading role in developing and maintaining applications.  Work with business and develop requirements with clear project deliverables and timelines with agile methodology.  Responsible for the development and support of all SFCC e-commerce initiatives. Collaboration with other team members to develop and facilitate impactful content and applications. Work closely with IT / internal technical resources to ensure proper application infrastructure. Ensure overall project documentation is completed and software development standards have been met.

  • Must have experience working in e-commerce application using tool like Demand ware [ SFCC] , ATG, WCS, Hybris.
  • Woking experience  in Saleforce commerce cloud  ( SFCC )  is major plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of web application development using JavaScript, Java, CSS, HTML, Node.js.
  • Prior experience developing API's or REST services a plus.
  • Must have experience in understanding on  product catalog, templates, inventory module, pricing module, payment module, checkout/order management.
  • Analysis, design and transfer of business requirements into the HARMAN E-commerce landscape.
  • Support the implementation and testing of 3rd party and custom created solutions into E-comm environments.
  • Must have demonstrable experience working on high volume, high transaction websites. Experience with implementing and integrating content management systems.
  • Preparing system documentation.
  • Troubleshoots functional issues.
  • Preparing system documentation.
  • Suggests options and recommendation solutions to key business users.
  • Able to write cross-browser/mobile-friendly code.
  • Proactively monitor the systems ensure availability of data.
  • Proven ability to work with product/project managers and stakeholders to help refine and capture software requirements in an iterative fashion. Accurately forecast effort.
  •  Ability to QA their work and deliver projects on time.
  • Write elegant, efficient and well-documented code.


Basic Qualifications: List the minimum and desired education (including degrees, licenses, certification or registrations) and experience needed to perform the key responsibilities of the position.

  • Bachelor’s /Masters degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of web development , experience with emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations.
  • 2+ years experience supporting/Enhancing E-commerce solutions.
  • 2+ years experience in designing, implementing and migrating E-commerce solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
